Signalise (BSL Interpreter)
New signalise service for D/deaf patients
Signalise co-op, who provide our Sign Language interepter services, are rolling out a new service making it easier for patients to book a GP appointment. Patients will use the Signalise Video Relay Service to contact Signalise who will then telephone the GP practice and interpret the call.
D/deaf patients can start using the service to contact their GP practice or book appointments now by either:
- filling out a short online form at: https://beta.signalise.coop/signup
- emailing: bookings@signalise.coop
- sending an SMS text or WhatsApp message to 07723 469028

Practice staff do not need to do anything differently, they will just receive a telephone call where the interpreter will say they are interpreting for the patient.
